As with most of the other trailers, we’re not supposed to be zooming in at all. You should zoom in for an entire day and see what’s happening. That’s why I’m doing this trailer, because it’s more than just a one-shot. All of the trailers have a single story, so it’s more than just a one-shot.
The first four days of this new Deathloop trailer are quite a bit of zooming in and out. It’s like we were zooming in, and then we were zoomed out for a few minutes.
The reason I chose this trailer was because its a really good way to build the suspense into the game, so you can see the tension between the two of us. The second reason I chose this trailer was because I’ve seen the first trailer before, so I thought I’d play the second one, too.
the big difference between the first and second trailer is that the second has a different focus on the gameplay. The first is all about zooming in and out, and the second has a focus on the story. The difference in focus could work against the game if you wanted to try and create a game that looks like a short film. For now though, I think its a really good trailer for a game that still seems to have plenty in the pipeline.
This is the first Deathloop trailer I’ve seen that doesn’t have the game’s art directed by the same guy who directed the first. It’s the same guy, but he’s not directing this game.
It looks like the game is set to be released in February, but that release date is subject to change due to Steam/GOG. If you want to look forward to a game that looks like a short film, I believe you could argue that zooming in and out and focusing attention on certain things is a part of making a short film.
The same dude is directing the game, or at least the part of the game that we can see. If you are a fan of the first Deathloop trailer, you could argue that the same guy is directing the second Deathloop trailer. But I believe that a long-term commitment to making a game with a focus on the art, music, and atmosphere of the first Deathloop trailer is a sign that Deathloop is a game that is going to be great.
When we first started this project, we weren’t even sure we had a content creation project to do. We saw people who had been doing video games in a similar way, and we thought, “well, if we can figure out how to make some of this stuff, we might as well do it.” So we went into the studio and found a really good video game. We started putting together the game demo we were going to use, and we worked on the game for a long time.
