In the pure expectations theory, a person’s belief about how other people perceive them is the main driver of their self-awareness.
I have a theory about the pure expectations theory. The more we are aware of ourselves, the more we try to fake it. The more we are aware of ourselves, the more we try to be as honest as we can, and the more we try to be as unique as we can be.
I’ve got a theory about how we make ourselves seem like we’re different from other people. For example, I once had a friend who was very shy and quiet. A few months after we met, he was like, “Hey, this is great! I’m so happy to be here with you. I just thought you were so quiet that I thought you were shy and quiet.” How do you know if you’ve met with a shy friend? You don’t.
I think the same thing goes with expectations. If we expect others to be better than us and different from us, and if we expect ourselves to be better than our friends and different from them, we end up being the same, and we end up being the same as everyone else. It is kind of like the difference between the two extremes. We are both the same, or both the other extreme.
If you expect people to act like you, you end up acting like them. If you expect yourself to act as you, you end up acting as them. It’s the “I am” part that is interesting. We don’t expect ourselves to act like we are different from others, we expect ourselves to act like we are different from ourselves. We don’t expect other people to act like we are different from them, we expect them to act like we are different from their actions.
The two extremes are, if you expect people to behave like you, you end up behaving like them. If you expect yourself to behave like you, you end up behaving like them. The reason we are so extreme is because we are so extreme in our expectations. I think it just comes down to us being extremely self-aware, and not being aware of our own assumptions.
The reason we are so extreme is because we are so extreme in our expectations. We think of ourselves as we are. We think that we are completely and utterly unqualified to make decisions for ourselves, so we don’t even think about our expectations in our own way.
If you are going to be using one of those three levels of self-awareness, you’ll probably want to use the other three.
The three levels of self-awareness are;1. Self-awareness of the self2. Self-awareness of the other3.
