In other words, its “distance from the center.” If you’re measuring your ceiling, for example, the point on the ceiling where the sun doesn’t hit is the center.
If youre trying to figure out overhead variance, it is often very important to use the same height for all rooms you are planning on placing. In cases where youre trying to plan for something where you want to have a big room, your ceiling could be on the low end. In cases where youre trying to have multiple rooms, you might want your ceiling to be higher on the same level of your room. That way you can make sure that the different rooms are all the same height.
