So many of the women I see on these pages are dressed to impress. I can’t help but wonder if this is a way to say “I’m perfect,” instead of saying, “I’m not perfect,” but I digress. Fashion and self-confidence are two of the most valuable assets to your business. These tips are aimed at helping you to gain these skills and have the confidence to be yourself.
There are many ways to get more self-confidence, and this tip falls into that category. It starts with being more aware of your own body language. Most of us are not aware of the fact that we unconsciously mirror the way others think, and we don’t realize how it affects the way our body looks.
If you’re like most of the people I know, you’ll be using your hands to hold things, but you won’t be consciously aware of what that means. It’s normal to pick up a magazine and find that a picture of a face you like has been taken in the way that you like.
I’ve written quite a bit about this here on my blog and on my podcast. There comes a point (which I’ve experienced myself) when the subconscious mind goes into overdrive. If you’re not aware that you’re doing it you’ll begin to think that your body is the way it was yesterday and that you can do what you want with it.
I feel like this is a common occurrence, but Ive never tried to stop myself from doing it, mainly because I tend to think that I’m doing it unconsciously. I also know that if I’m consciously aware of it I’m just doing it because I don’t know what else to do to make it stop.
I was talking with some of the editors at Forbes about how they think their editors are so good at what they do because they have certain skills that no one else has. I think they might be right. I do think that I can find a way to practice these skills. For example, I can actually find a way to force myself to focus on my eyes.
I think that we’re all doing more than just pretending that we don’t see what we’re doing. We’re all doing it unconsciously, or we’re not being aware of what we’re doing. We have to learn to do it consciously.
I think you need to stop pretending that you can’t see your face. It’s really quite easy to do. My wife and I were at my brother’s house the other day and we looked at each other’s faces and we couldn’t tell if we were seeing what we wanted to or not. My brother has been trying to talk to me about this for years and I’m starting to realize that it’s really easy to do.
It’s easy to pretend that you’re not seeing your face. I’m not saying it’s easy to see or feel what you see, but it’s easier to pretend you’re not seeing what you see. We’re all a bit of a masochist when it comes to trying to fake it. We can all be aware of our bodies, but we have to be aware of the body that we are pretending to be.
I think fv face really is an excellent trick. I personally found it very easy to do. All I had to do was focus on my face for a couple of seconds and I was good to go.
