On October 12th, food trucks from downtown Raleigh will descend on downtown Raleigh to compete for the coveted Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo. The event will be held at the City of North Raleigh Park & Ride. While there you’ll be able to vote for your favorite food truck. The winner of the Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo will be announced at the event’s conclusion.
Downtown Raleigh’s food truck rodeo has been going on for nearly two years now. The event happens twice a year and it is not just for the restaurants there, but the entire downtown area. When I was first approached about doing this, I wasn’t sure if I could pull this off but with the help of some amazing people I was able to get the event started.
Here is your chance to see downtown Raleigh’s best food trucks. You can find a full list of participating restaurants, and you can see photos of the trucks themselves. These food trucks are not only fun to watch, but also extremely affordable! You can find food trucks like the Huckleberry Burger truck, the BBQ chicken truck, and the BBQ chicken taco truck.
