What I mean by that is that I’m looking to increase my sales, my earnings, my self-awareness. We all need to learn to be more aware of our thoughts and actions and how they impact us.
I’m not talking about going to a seminar and learning to “think more clearly.” I’m talking about taking the time to learn how to pay attention to our thoughts, our actions, our feelings, and our actions.
I’m talking about paying attention to what we do and what we think. How we act, how we feel. The things we say and the things that we write. It’s easy, but if we’re not paying attention, we’re not able to see these things as they are. This is why we need to learn to average up.
As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I think we are all guilty of averaging up. Our brains are hardwired to pay attention to a lot of things. I think that this is one of the reasons why we are so easily distracted. We are not as smart as we think, therefore we are not nearly as able to pay attention to anything and everything. This means that our lives are so hectic we don’t see the good in every day.
I would have done it differently if I had seen this trailer. It’s a good story, and I could have written it out for the first time in a long while. But, like a lot of people here, I have to do this once more and it will be pretty much the same way.
When you are on autopilot, the probability that you will be on autopilot is going to be very high. A few weeks ago I posted about how my autopilot was getting to the point where I could no longer look at my computer screen when I went to the computer to check that my screen was on autopilot. I’ve become so paranoid that I was able to pull all the buttons when I was on autopilot and then watch it go back to the screen.
For those of you who are on autopilot, you have an automatic way to “self-check” your surroundings. You don’t have to look at your screen in order to tell if its on or off, so you can just do that automatic check. As you are checking your surroundings, you are creating a mental image of what is around you, so when you are looking around, you are really looking all around you. This is an important part of the autopilot.
This is especially true when you are not aware of where you are. This is something that is important to self-awareness. We tend to look outwards. So our brains tend to go to the things that we are aware of, the things that really matter in life. So when you are not even aware of your surroundings, then your brain will automatically go to the things that are important to you, the most important stuff in your life.
That’s why it’s so important to train yourself to look around yourself and notice all the details of your surroundings. As we said earlier, we are constantly making our way thru this world, so it is important to go back to the first thing that we can see. If you are doing this for only one day or for a few days, then it is really easy to get distracted. But if you are doing this for a week or a month, it is much harder to get distracted.
The thing is that we don’t realize we are constantly being pulled in so many directions. We are constantly being bombarded with information and stimuli in every direction. And that means that our attention is constantly on the few things we can find a way to concentrate on. It can be easy to become so distracted and lose track of what you are doing that you miss all the good stuff. But that’s the thing, its very hard to know what you are doing.
